one act plays (2021)

following the success of our first one-act-play-esque production of almost maine comes another series of one act plays, entitled “Great Scenes from Classic Plays”. from snarky comedies to Shakespearean drama, each scene is individualistic and unique to its genre and creator. embodying the iconic Lady MacBeth was definitely an eccentric performance highlight for my acting career.

i played Lady Macbeth in MacBeth, which is around 1:03:23.

almost maine (2020)

with the consequences of covid-19 came restrictions and limitations in the world of theatre, an extremely collaborative art. luckily, our school productions did not halt, as by utilizing the circumstances that we found ourselves in, we molded our vision to fit that of the current status quo. so, with masks and anthological storytelling came a simplistic yet sweet production of almost maine.

i played Gayle in Getting It Back, which is around 36:38.

the crucible (2019)

during my third year of doing the school play, i was cast as Mary Warren, a role that i had never taken on before. i was met with a new level of emotionally intensive acting, one that propelled me to indulge in what i call “down-time”, in which ten minutes before each show, i would isolate myself to a quiet and dimly lit room, and stew in my given circumstances and parallels. the crucible, a classic, is perhaps my favorite play ever done here at Collingwood.

i played Mary Warren in The Crucible.
